It's come to my attention that a dozen or so sites have embedded Flying Snake on their websites. Honestly I'm not sure what to think. Some of them have gone to quite a bit of effort to rewrite the description, upload new screenshots and even upload gameplay videos.
I'm finding the whole thing a bit surreal. I don't mind people embedding the game, all publicity is good publicity after all and my adshare isn't particularly impressive anyway. The only issues I have are that most of these sites aren't embedding older versions which don't represent the current state of the game, some of these sites are higher on search results than Newgrounds and none of them link back here.
I'm thinking future releases will have a Newgrounds logo on the menu screen and I'll find a way to get the game open a new tab back here.
Anyone else experianced this? Thoughts?

Yeah, welcome to the world of online Flash game development, unfortunately; not much you can do about it.
However, watermarking your work does somewhat mitigate such hotlinking; the dev for the Megaman X Next game here did so by writing at the start of the game "This version is only for Newgrounds/Addictinggames/Minijuegos.com. If you see it anywhere else, report it."
Also, nice job on the game so far. Not sure what you did exactly, or if you even went through with my suggestions, but it's a lot smoother now.

I'm just going to make sure to always add a NG logo in future.
I haven't implemented your suggestion yet. I had a bit of code running on each snake segment for features for features I've decided is never going to be implemented and simplified a few equations.
